Life of Pi

Hi,

I watched this movie on 25/12/2012 at Putrajaya Alamanda. I watched Life of Pi in 3D. I never read the book so until I watch the movie, I was actually pronouncing Pi as Pi...not the mathematical symbol Pi. Hmm surprisingly, nobody corrected me.

I liked this movie. There are moral values in this movie that I think all of us should follow. In my point of view, the moral values are:

Faith is God and God is Faith. We should not criticize any religion.

Appreciate our loved ones while they are alive. There is no point being sorry or to regret after they are gone.

And this movie is also special to me. This is the first 3D movie that I watched. I was going around asking my colleague and friends how is it to watch with 3D. Is it ok to wear on top of the specs???(I wear specs and I am not comfortable wearing contact lens to shopping complex/cinema).

Overall, I enjoyed and I am looking forward to watch more 3D movies. Woo hoo!!!

Memories and Lessons

It is still early January and I have been thinking of writing this down since end of December. 2012 has so many memories to cherish and lessons not to forget.

I really struggled emotionally first half of the year. Second half of the year is really good.

Memories

1. My salary increment
    - It motivates me to work more harder and efficiently
    - I was happy because I feel my work are recognized

2. 27.5.2012
    - My boyfriend brought his parents to discuss about our engagement officially

3. 27.10.2012
    - My boyfriend became my fiance' " I am engaged"

4. Ratings
    - My call coaching scores was good

5. Scooter
    - Bought a scooter

Lessons

1. Do not live with expectations (the hard one to do)
2. Helping is good but not all the time
3. Savings are very important especially in case of emergency

Overall, it was a good year. The second half of the year made me forget the incidents of the first half of the year. So many good things happen around and I couldn't be more happy. Two of my colleagues are pregnant and one got married. I am happy for them, very.

People come and go in my life. They are the one who taught me the most valuable lessons.

Happy New Year 2013!!!


World

Image above is an image about end of the world on 21/12/2012. And today is 22/12/2012... the world doesn't end yet. Deep down my heart, I wish the world not to end so soon. I also pray that the world will be safe from all natural disaster. 

I guess, we , human beings are making the Earth more vulnerable to disaster. As much as the campaign is going on to stop global warming, recycle and so on... it doesn't give much effect. If the world does not end with whatever collision(I am not so good on Universal Science), I guess it will end with some human beings attitude, heartless attitude.

Recent news around the world... the incident at Connecticut, the gang rape at Delhi... i don't know what to say. It is going on and on.

 

And now....the year is going to end. Another 3 more days to go for 2013. I hope things are better in 2013 in my life, my career, my relationship, my family and everything that matters.

Gifts are a must on Christmas. So, my colleagues at office arranged for exchange gift like last year. Last year my guardian angel was my team manager and my mortal was a newbie.

And this year, my guardian angel was my boss, ok my boss. And my mortal is a newbie too. Quite a coincidence, I got superiors as my guardian angel and newbies(which I never meet yet) as my mortals for 2011 and 2012. Hmm...

So what I got this year, I've got Midnight Bakula Body Wash and Neroli Jasmin Body Lotion from Body Shop. What I gave was three types of body shampoo from Yves Rocher.

I read a very good article today in Daily Mail. It is about resolution for New Year. It is something new and definitely I am going to give it a try. It is about setting up resolutions for your partner and vice versa.

So, I am expecting 2013 in a very postive manner. I am on leave on 30/12, 31/12 and 1/13...so my New Year Eve will be at my parents' house. Yeah, good food and TV.

Expectations

I guess everyone expect something in their life... I have expectations too especially when it is promised to me. I do really expect people give me as much as I give them...i give them 100% of love, I expect 100% from them.

But I learned that it is not possible, the more I expect the more I am hurt. Especially in relationships...no matter friends, family, relatives or the other half.

There are times I feel so down especially when I don't get what I wanted. I must learn to live with it.

 

Done with my feelings...some dates that I need to mention here, not important to the world but important to me....

My best friend's birthday. Her name is Ling Yvonne. She is a Chinese girl. We don't meet often, the last I met her was on my engagement. She was always there for me in bad or good situation and I believe she will be anytime. We know each other for almost 10 years...wah...

I said I LOVE YOU to my dearest fiance...when I was 17 years old. It was said with no hope of meeting him. It was a long distance relationship. But yet, this date remains fresh in my mind. No matter what happens, I love him and will always do...

And yes, we have stepped into the most expected month of the year. I have already started to plan my new year resolution. Once you have a new year resolution, it doesn't mean you need to start on 1st January, you can start early and create the basics.

That was the optimistic thinking, how about the news on world will end on 21/12/2012...hmm it is a prediction, well I don't give it a thought much....let's see what wiill happen. 

Now I am off to eat Sambal Telur Pecah Darat which I tried yesterday and it turned out pretty good...nyum nyum...
